Printmakers

The Printmakers Exhibition at the Old Mill Gallery, Worton SN10 5SF, is open to the public over two weekends.

-Saturday 18th & Sunday 19th April '09
& Saturday 25th & Sunday 26th April '09.

The following artists are exhibiting in this exhibition: Cath Bloomfield, Jenny Ford, Maxine Foster, Chris Grimmett, Jan Knight, Julia Leyden, Charlotte Sainsbury, Josephine Sumner.

This fine art print exhibition will have examples of work using the following processes:

Intaglio - is an impression taken from a design that is indented, inscribed or etched beneath a flat surface, such as an etching, dry point or collagraph.
Relief - is an impression taken from the raised surface of a plate, such as a lino-cut or wood-cut.
Screen - relies on a stencil which blocks areas of a fine mesh screen; ink is then pulled across the screen surface.
Plano-graphic - involves inks being applied directly onto the surface of a plate and then prints taken, such as lithographs and mono-prints.

Our weekend Opening times are: 10am - 5pm daily.
